Full job descriptionDuties Will include but not be limited too:To lead and develop the Group payroll function, ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant delivery of payroll services across the business*Responsible for four payrolls, multiple pension schemes, payroll-related employee benefits, payroll compliance, controls, reporting and continuous improvement
*Lead, coach and develop the Payroll & Benefits Officer, ensuring workloads are appropriately managed and service standards are achieved
*Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, pension legislation, auto-enrolment requirements and all associated HMRC obligations.
*Manage multiple pension schemes, ensuring pensionable pay, employee deductions, employer contributions and statutory requirements are administered accurately.
*Own payroll controls, reconciliations and audit processes, ensuring payroll information is accurate, complete and appropriately documented.
*Manage all year-end payroll activities including P60s, P11Ds, Benefits-in-Kind reporting and pension re-enrolment activities.
*Ensure salary sacrifice and benefit schemes are administered effectively, including electric vehicle schemes, private medical insurance, cycle-to-work schemes and other employee benefits.
You will have the following skill set
*CIPP Qualified or QBE
*Extesnive all round Payroll experience within businesses of 500-1200 employees
*Paye, P11ds, BIC
*On a maximum of 1 month notice
*Ability to get to the office 2 days PW
