Full job descriptionGoods Out / Production Operative | FLT Driver | Food Production OperativeWidnes, West Bank | £12.71 per hour (increasing after probation) | Monday-Friday | 7am-3:30pm | Temp to Perm
IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business in West Bank, Widnes, specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon.
Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative, Goods Out Operative or FLT Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.
An RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last three years, is essential for this role.
What We Offer*£12.71 per hour, increasing after probation.
*Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
*Additional hours from September to December on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 6pm, plus some Saturday mornings.
*Temp-to-perm opportunity.

Key DutiesDuring Training - approximately 12 weeks:
*Operate production machinery.
*Pack and label products.

*Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
*Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
*Perform quality checks on products.
After Training:
*Load delivery vehicles.
*Complete dispatch documentation.
*Store stock safely and efficiently.
*Move raw materials into production areas.
*Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
Requirements*RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last three years.
*Previous FLT experience.
*Manual handling experience.
*Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
*Food hygiene awareness.
*Good understanding of health and safety practices.
*Strong communication skills.
*Hands-on and proactive approach.
