Bournemouth Area Needed.
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Tutor to provide face-to-face tuition in students’ homes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people build confidence and achieve academic progress across core subjects.
Role Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science)
*Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities
*Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
*Work with students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
*Build positive relationships with students and families
*Track progress and provide feedback where required
*Travel to students’ homes for in-person sessions
Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ tutoring or teaching experience
*Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects
*Experience supporting students with SEN and working with EHCPs is essential
*Comfortable working face-to-face in students’ homes
*Full UK driving licence and access to transport preferred
*Flexible and reliable with availability during school hours
*Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
*Desirable Qualifications
*PGCE and/or QTS
*Additional SEN qualifications or training Pay
Additional Information
*£25-£35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
*Flexible hours available - Sessions primarily delivered during school hours
