A rare chance to join a growing integrated agency and take ownership of its marketing function. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead strategy, drive commercial growth and play a key role in shaping the next chapter of the business

The role
As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead a small team of digital specialists, own key client relationships and oversee multi-channel marketing strategies. This is a great role with real autonomy, while still staying hands-on enough to support delivery and provide expert guidance when needed. This would suit someone ready for the next step in their career or someone just looking for a fresh challenge.
Key areas of focus
*Lead a small marketing team
*Own strategic relationships across key client accounts
*Drive client growth, retention and commercial performance
*Lead and support new business pitches
*Oversee integrated SEO, PPC, content and social strategies
*Use data and insight to shape recommendations and improve performance
*Work closely with design and development teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes
*Help shape the future growth and direction of the marketing function

About you
*Broad digital marketing experience across channels such as SEO, PPC, content and social
*Agency experience and confidence managing multiple clients and stakeholders
*Leadership experience, either through direct people management or mentoring
*Commercially minded with strong presentation and client-facing skills
*Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
*Ambitious, driven and excited by the opportunity to help scale a growing business

You will need to be able to commute to the office in County Durham.
