Recruit Ins are recruiting for a Senior Claims Team Leader to join a Real Estate claims team based in either Chelmsford or Glasgow. This is an office-based position.
The Role
*Lead and manage a team of desk-based property claims handlers.
*Ensure high standards of customer service and performance.
*Manage new claim allocation and team workflow.
*Oversee claims throughout their lifecycle.
*Handle technical referrals and complaints.
*Monitor reports and support account management.
*Manage holidays, absences and team cover.
*Conduct 1-to-1s, appraisals and performance reviews.
*Identify and deliver training requirements.
*Support wider team and operational requirements.
About You
*Minimum 3 years’ property claims experience, domestic or commercial.
*Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
*Strong people management and leadership skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
*Confident decision-maker with strong organisational skills.
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Target-driven and commercially aware.
*Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
*Flexible to travel when required.
