As a Senior Buyer, you’ll take ownership of the daywear category, working closely with Design, Merchandising and suppliers to deliver trend-led, commercially successful ranges. You’ll trade your department daily, react quickly to customer demand and play a key role in driving sales, margin and profitability.
Responsibilities
*Develop and trade commercially successful product ranges.

*Work closely with Design and Merchandising to build balanced, profitable collections.

*Analyse sales and market trends to identify opportunities and manage risk.

*Source and develop products with suppliers while negotiating costs and improving margins.

*Manage the critical path to ensure products launch on time.

*Carry out competitor analysis and identify gaps within the range.

*Build strong supplier relationships and travel where required.

*Support and mentor junior members of the Buying team.

*Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and drive business growth.

About You
*Previous experience as a Womenswear Buyer within fashion retail with experience across day dresses & tops.

*Strong commercial awareness with a trend-led approach.

*Confident trading a department and making commercial decisions.

*Analytical, with strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret sales data.

*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

*Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

*Experience within an e-commerce or test-and-repeat retail model is advantageous.
