A highly reputable and established law firm is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy and successful Property department based just south of Manchester City Centre.

This is a non-fee-earning position, supporting a team of experienced Conveyancers with all aspects of their caseloads from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.

Salary – £25,000 - £28,000 DOE

The Role*Assist a team of Conveyancers with their Residential Property caseloads from initial instruction through to post-completion
*Open new files, complete initial client onboarding and prepare relevant documentation
*Support with Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity
*Prepare and issue contract documentation
*Assist with searches, enquiries and general transaction progression
*Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors throughout the transaction
*Assist with exchange and completion preparations
*Handle a range of post-completion duties, including SDLT and Land Registry matters
*Maintain accurate files and ensure matters progress efficiently

The Candidate*A minimum of 6 months’ experience within Residential Conveyancing
*Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal
*A good understanding of the conveyancing process from opening a file through to completion and post-completion
*Exposure to Freehold, Leasehold, Sales and Purchase transactions
*Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicating with clients and third parties
*Comfortable working in a support-focused, non-fee-earning role
*Ability to commute to an office just south of Manchester City Centre
