Ready to become the organised heartbeat of a beautiful Hertfordshire estate? We’re looking for a brilliantly capable Temporary Office Manager to join a close-knit team just outside Hertford. This is a varied, fast-moving and genuinely rewarding part-time role where no two days will feel the same — and for the right person, there is every likelihood it will become permanent.
You’ll sit right at the centre of day-to-day estate operations, keeping people, systems, schedules, suppliers and technology moving smoothly. If you love bringing order, energy and smart solutions to a busy environment, this is a rare chance to make a visible impact in a significant and growing estate business.

*Make meeting arrangements
*Maintain a tidy office and liaise with cleaners and other contractors relating to the office
*Send the weekly team email of duties and absences

*Arrange and coordinate multi-team meetings
*Assist the Executive Trustee-Director with his meeting organisation, including Board meetings

*Keep AV, VC, phone directories and shared digital resources running smoothly.
*Champion best practice across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Planner, To Do and emerging apps such as Power Automate.
*Manage software subscriptions, group contracts and technology processes for starters and leavers.

*Quick to learn new platforms, solve problems and spot opportunities to improve how things work.
*Flexible, proactive and collaborative, with a positive team-first approach.
Why You’ll Love It
This is more than an admin role. You’ll be trusted, valued and given the chance to shape how the office runs — from smarter systems and smoother processes to the everyday details that help a brilliant team do their best work. Alongside a competitive package, the Estate offers generous employment policies, professional development and a beautiful countryside setting.
*Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
