People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an FLT Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.
Shift Pattern
*Monday to Friday
*Mandatory rotating shifts:
*2 weeks AM: 06:00 – 14:00
*2 weeks PM: 14:00 – 22:00
Applicants must be available to work both AM and PM shifts as part of the rotation.
Rates of Pay
*Basic rate: £15.12 per hour
*Overtime rate: £22.26 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
*Operating an FLT Reach Truck safely and efficiently
*Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
*Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
*Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
*Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
*Organising stock ready for dispatch
*Moving pallets and goods around the warehouse as required
*Supporting general warehouse operations when required
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Following all site health and safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:
*Proven experience operating an FLT Reach Truck
*Confidence working within a busy warehouse environment
*Good spatial awareness
*High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
*Good communication and organisational skills
*A reliable and self-motivated attitude
*Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of warehouse tasks
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Availability to work the full AM and PM rotating shift pattern
Desirable Experience
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Training Provided
*Industry-related training and ongoing support and development
