Production Manager- Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

Our client is a respected and growing manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Production Manager to help improve manufacturing performance as part of its next stage of growth.
About the Role Managing a production operation of approximately 40 employees, you will play a key role in helping the business become more efficient, more productive and better equipped for future growth. This is not simply a maintenance role. The business is looking for a leader who can bring fresh thinking, challenge the status quo, gain buy-in from stakeholders and deliver meaningful improvements across production performance, operational efficiency and cost control.
Key Areas of Focus * OEE and line performance
* Labour utilisation
* Cost reduction
* Waste reduction
* Continuous Improvement
* Team development
* Operational best practice
* Health & Safety culture
* Food safety and quality compliance
* Future automation and efficiency projects
You will have worked as a: * Production Manager
* Manufacturing Manager
* Operations Manager
* Factory Manager
* Senior Shift Manager looking for a bigger challenge
You will have a proven ability to:
* Improve productivity and manufacturing performance
* Lead and develop operational teams
* Deliver Continuous Improvement projects
* Reduce operational costs
* Implement structured ways of working
* Influence senior stakeholders and gain support for change
