Job Description:
Full job descriptionRobert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join a well-established Professional Services company based just outside central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£35,000 - £38,000 plus wider benefits package
Roles and responsibilities over time will include but not limited to:
*Verify all wages / salary payments
*Ensure all sales invoices are completed and submitted to the customer in a timely manner
*Complete Monthly P&L - update balance sheets / make adjustments as needed
*Undertake annual accounts & audit support work with Chartered Accountants
*Complete weekly expense sheets, authorise payments and send to MD weekly
*Ensure all suppliers’ invoices are verified and approved and deal with any queries
*Produce monthly supplier payment schedule
*Responsible for petty cash
*Resolve complex sales ledger accounts and chase difficult debtors
*Calculate depreciation annually and on purchase/sale of assets, update journal records for monthly journal entries
*Reconcile several control accounts and make necessary adjustments. Including month end bank reconciliation
*Provide weekly pension data to provider and key manual data entries for monthly pension data
*Point of contact for staff regarding annual leave balance, tax codes and pension queries
Person specification:
*Currently working in a varied finance role with payroll responsibility
*Confident with finance systems, in particular Excel
*Strong communicator across all levels of a business
£35,000 - £38,000 plus wider benefits package
