They are seeking a Production/Workshop Technician to join their friendly, highly skilled team, someone who thrives in a rewarding environment, works to a consistently high standard and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a perfect end product.
Full training will be provided, any previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be fully utilised but is not essential as this role would suit both someone with production experience or a driven individual starting their career and looking for full training.. You will have great manual dexterity, articulate hand skills and attention to detail with a practical hands on approach, a flair for making and assembling products showing a high level of craftsmanship. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and progress within the company taking on additional responsibilities.
The tasks to be undertaken include:
*Assembly of all parts of the product
*Hand finishing parts so they are ready for assembly
*Final product assembly
*Work will include operation of small machinery and hand tools.
*This role offers the opportunity to become multi skilled and learn all aspects of production. These products must be made to a consistently high standard of quality therefore they are looking for people with demonstrable aptitude, interest or background in activities that involve making things or using tools.
*The successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
*A motivated and positive attitude to work
*Great manual dexterity
*A desire and aptitude for work in a practical hands-on role making parts and products to a high standard of quality
*The ability to follow defined manufacturing processes consistently and accurately
*The ability to work reliably with focus, concentration and attention to detail
*They are a team player, flexible and can contribute to achieving the overall objectives of the business
*Hours Monday to Thursday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm
*Generous Holiday allowance
*Parking on siteSalary £25,000 - £28,000 negotiable depending on experience
