West London | £600-£700 per day | Hybrid Working
We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Head of Education Planning for a Local authority in West London, leading a key portfolio across School Organisation, Public Consultation and School Place Planning.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead strategic School Organisation and Place Planning across the borough.
*Lead complex public and statutory consultation processes.
*Manage school organisation proposals including expansions, amalgamations, PAN reductions and changes to provision.
*Lead mainstream and SEND sufficiency planning.
*Use pupil forecasting and demographic data to inform future provision.
*Work closely with schools, communities, the DfE, senior officers and elected members.
*Provide strategic advice and reports for Cabinet, Scrutiny and senior leadership.
*Support education estate, resource and financial planning.
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
*Senior-level local authority School Organisation / Place Planning experience.
*Strong experience of public and statutory consultation.
*Experience managing politically sensitive school organisation change.
*Excellent stakeholder and elected member engagement skills.
*Knowledge of education sufficiency, pupil forecasting and relevant statutory requirements.
