Role Overview
*Position: History Teacher
*Location: Burnley, Lancashire
*Schedule: Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
*Pay Rate: £174.71 - £270.95 per day (PAYE)

Are you an engaging, resilient, and passionate History Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can truly transform student outcomes? We are currently seeking a dedicated educator to join a progressive Alternative Provision (AP) setting in Burnley.
In this role, you will work with small class sizes supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students who benefit from a flexible, bespoke approach to education. If you have a knack for connecting with young people, managing challenging behaviours with empathy, and making history relevant and exciting, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver creative History lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs and barriers to education.
*Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and curiosity.
*Track student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and collaborate closely with specialised pastoral support teams.
*Build strong, professional rapport with students to boost confidence, self-esteem, and academic retention.

*Competitive Daily Rate: £174.71 to £270.95 per day, paid via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay, with no hidden umbrella company fees).

Requirements:

*Exceptional classroom management skills, resilience, and a patient, adaptable approach.
