Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role will focus on planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, equipment reliability and facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance.
*Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
*Support machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
*Use the CMMS system to record maintenance activities.
*Support continuous improvement and reliability programmes.
*Fault-find on electrical systems, drives and controls.
*Carry out basic PLC fault finding.
*Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
*Support facility maintenance and engineering projects.
*Maintain high standards of health and safety.
Requirements
*Recognised Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship.
*5+ years’ relevant maintenance experience.
*Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
*Knowledge of drives and controls; Siemens PLC experience advantageous.
*Ability to use workshop machinery, including lathe and milling machine.
*18th Edition desirable.
*HNC/ONC or equivalent advantageous.
*Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
*Shift:12-hour rotating day shifts
