Full job descriptionA senior finance leadership opportunity has arisen within a multi-entity organisation seeking an accomplished Head of Commercial Finance in a fully remote role. Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, this role will lead the commercial finance function, driving strategic decision-making, commercial performance and financial excellence across the business.
The successful individual will provide leadership across finance business partnering, bid finance and group financial planning, ensuring commercial opportunities are translated into sustainable financial performance while strengthening reporting, governance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
As a Head of Commercial Finance you will be responsible for...


*Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing commercial finance function, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
*Enhance the capability of the Finance team, enabling the function to provide greater commercial insight, strategic support and constructive challenge to operational leaders.
*Oversee the production of accurate and timely management accounts, group consolidation and financial reporting across multiple business areas.
*Drive improvements to month-end reporting through process optimisation and automation
*Provide senior financial oversight of major bids, contract renewals, extensions and strategic commercial opportunities, ensuring financial models are robust and commercially sound.
*Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency and commercial performance across the organisation.
*Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
