The Opportunity
Môrwell Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small, friendly finance team on a short-term temporary basis, covering a period of sick leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available and confident working within a busy finance environment. You will report directly to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
*Processing supplier payments and maintaining accurate records
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Responding to supplier queries
*Assisting with general purchase ledger administration
*Ensuring invoices and payments are processed within agreed timescales
*Supporting the wider finance team as required
About You
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and competent finance professional who can hit the ground running.
You will ideally have:
*Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*The ability to pick up new finance systems quickly
*A confident and proactive approach to your work
*Good organisational and communication skills
*The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
*A dependable and reliable approach to work
*The flexibility to start immediately
