None of that happens without the right people on the desks. That’s where you come in.
The Role
You’ll learn recruitment from the ground up: sourcing talent, building relationships with candidates and clients, and running the full process from first conversation to placement. No two days are the same, and unlike most jobs, your progression and earnings are entirely in your own hands.
What you’ll actually be doing
*Sourcing and engaging top talent across your specialist market
*Pre-qualifying candidates and getting under the skin of their skills, experience and goals
*Managing the full recruitment cycle from first contact through to placement
*Building your own client base as you grow into the role
*Hitting targets in a fast-paced, genuinely competitive environment
*Building your personal brand and network via LinkedIn, events and client meetings
What makes someone right for this
We can teach you recruitment. We can’t teach drive. So we’re looking for:
*A competitive streak in team sport, individual sport, or just someone who can’t stand losing
*Confidence on the phone and strong communication skills
*Someone building a career, not filling time until something better comes along
*Money-motivated with genuine long-term ambition
*It’s a plus for previous experience in retail, hospitality, sales or anything customer-facing, but it’s not essential
No recruitment background needed. No specific degree needed. What we actually care about is work ethic, resilience, and whether you’re willing to learn.
