Full job descriptionWe are supporting a North West public sector organisation with the recruitment of a Deployment Engineer to assist with a large-scale PC refresh and device rollout programme.
This is a hands-on role involving the deployment, configuration and replacement of end-user devices across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with staff to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities:
*Deploy and configure new desktop and laptop devices
*Carry out device replacements, user setup and basic troubleshooting
*Provide excellent on-site support to end users throughout the rollout
*Maintain accurate deployment and asset records
*Travel between sites across the North West as required
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience supporting IT deployments, hardware rollouts or desktop refresh projects
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*A proactive approach with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems effectively
*Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
