Full job descriptionHumanities Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time)Location: Bradford
Pay: Daily rate to scale
Contract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities)
About the RoleAcademics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis in secondary schools across Bradford.
This role involves delivering high-quality Humanities lessons (such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Education) through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons
*Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
*Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
*Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
*Inspire students’ interest in Humanities subjects
*Work collaboratively with departmental and school staff
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Humanities in secondary schools
*Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
*A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
