We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Supply Teacher for a number of our reputable schools in Birmingham. This Teaching opportunity starts in September 2026 and is daily work that has the potential to become long-term for the right candidate. This position is ideal for individuals who are seeking a more flexible role at the moment but would be up for a more long-term role in the future.
Key responsibilities of a Year 5 Teacher include:
*Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
*Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
*Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
*Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
*To monitor and assess pupils development
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
*Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
*Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
