Academics are working with a supportive school in Oxford who are looking for a caring and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate and keen to make a real difference to students’ lives.
Your Role
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
*Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
*Assist students with their learning, communication and development.
*Support students with personal care and daily activities where required.
*Encourage independence, confidence and engagement.
*Work closely with teachers and other support staff.
*Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
We’re Looking For
*Patient, caring and compassionate.
*Confident supporting students with additional needs.
*Positive, reliable and resilient.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
*Previous experience with PMLD or SEN is desirable but not essential.

*Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
*Location: Oxford
*School: Specialist/SEND School
*Start Date: September
*Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
*Pay: £93-£110 per day
*Contract: Full-time
