Academics, a national education agency fast becoming the number one agency in the UK, is actively recruiting for a School Caretaker to work on a Secondary School site in Doncaster on a temporary basis for the Autumn Term.

About the RoleAs a School Caretaker in Doncaster, you will play a vital part in ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, clean and well-maintained.
The role will involve working as part of a small team and carrying out a variety of practical maintenance and site duties, including:
*Minor repairs and general maintenance
*Plumbing
*Carpentry
*Painting and decorating
*Fire safety duties
*Litter picking and maintaining the school grounds
*Supporting the general upkeep and security of the school site
*Working collaboratively as part of a small team
Working hours:
*Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
*Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
*5 days per week
*Duration: Autumn Term
*Applicants must be available to work during school holidays
All mandatory training will be covered.

School Caretaker Requirements:*Previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience
*Practical experience with minor repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating
*Knowledge or experience of fire safety procedures
*Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
*Reliability
*Commitment to safeguarding
*An Enhanced DBS Certificate
*Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice in relation to facilities management
