Pensions Project Manager
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in Financial Services and a passion for delivering business solutions?
We’re partnering with a leading professional services organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation. Due to continued investment in change programmes, they are seeking a talented Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects and workstreams across the business.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery within a large-scale transformation programme. Working closely with senior stakeholders, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex business change initiatives within a collaborative environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver projects and workstreams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
*Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure.
*Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules.
*Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain regular project updates.
*Run daily stand-ups, identify blockers, and drive issue resolution.
*Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
*Track scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables using JIRA.
*Monitor project budgets and ensure effective cost control.
*Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
*Maintain strong governance, reporting, and documentation standards.
*Promote project management best practice and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering change programmes within Financial Services environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Demonstrable Project Management experience within a Pensions Administration environment.
*Strong experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
*Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience managing project budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
*Strong planning and delivery experience using JIRA or similar project management tools.
*Ability to work effectively with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
