A great opportunity to join a well-established accountancy practice in Birmingham City Centre as a Client Management Accountant. Known for its supportive culture and close-knit team, this is a business that genuinely invests in its people, offering excellent exposure across a broad and varied client portfolio.
Main Duties:
As a Client Management Accountant, your main duties include:
*Taking ownership of the preparation and finalisation of management accounts for a varied client portfolio
*Preparing statutory accounts to a high standard, in line with relevant reporting requirements
*Compiling clear, accurate monthly reporting packs for clients
*Building strong client relationships, gathering information, resolving queries, and presenting findings in a clear and commercial way
*Playing an active role in month-end and year-end close processes, helping to improve efficiency and reporting quality along the way
Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in a Birmingham City Centre office, within a friendly and close-knit team who pride themselves on their supportive, collaborative culture. You’ll be part of a business that values its people and takes real pride in the quality of work it delivers for clients.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
*Part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA – candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
*Experience gained within an accountancy practice is essential
*A proven track record of preparing management and statutory accounts end-to-end
*Strong, hands-on experience of month-end processes is essential
