We are currently working with a large national social housing provider to recruit two temporary Visiting Officers to purely carry out tenancy audits across London.
You will verify occupancy, identify safety and tenancy issues, investigate potential breaches and housing fraud, and ensure residents meet lease conditions.
This role requires independent judgment and field-based travel. The position emphasizes safeguarding, housing knowledge and strong record-keeping, with a focus on supporting residents.
Length of Contract: 3 months
Hours: 37 Monday to Friday
Hourly rate: £21.50 (Umbrella)
Location: Field base across London
Fuel expensed at £0.55 per mile.
Key duties:
*Conduct scheduled and unannounced visits to properties
*Verify occupancy and assess safety and suitability
*Identify safeguarding concerns and tenancy breaches
*Gather evidence and recommend appropriate action
*Support residents in accessing services
The successful candidate will have:
*Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (Desirable)
*Confidence to conduct scheduled and unannounced visits
*Ability to identify housing fraud, non-occupation and breaches
