Full job descriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an Export Gateway & Airfreight Coordinator to work for a medium-size forwarder. Tuesday to Saturday 11.30am -8pm
The Export Gateway / Airfreight Coordinator is responsible for providing support across the Airfreight Operation team, ensuring the efficient handling and movement of shipments within both Export Gateway and General Export activities. Arranging, monitoring and processing, working closely with customers, suppliers, overseas partners and internal departments.
Role Involves:
*Manage and prioritise daily shipment activities to ensure customer requirements and operational deadlines.
*Montior and manager the Healthcare inbox, ensuring all enquiries are responded within agreed service levels times.
*Start to Finish Air Exports.
*Good customs / CDS experience.
*Ensure all shipment documentation and operational data are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
*Communicate professionally with customers, carriers, overseas agents, suppliers.
*Assist with operational audits and provide documentation.
*Support other departments as and when needed. Any Pharma or Perishables experience advantage. Will train on all cargo so can cover when needed.
Experience.
*Good Air Export Gateway start to finish experience.
*Good Customs / CDS knowledge.
*Any Pharma or Perishables advantage.
