Description
*Manage day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
*Oversee the planning and coordination of resources to meet operational targets.
*Monitor and improve operational processes to maximise productivity.
*Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
*Lead and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
*Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
*Collaborate with other departments to align logistics operations with company objectives.
*Manage budgets and control costs within the logistics department.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:
*Experience in logistics or operational management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
*Will have worked in a complex processing environment
*Chemical, waste or other heavily regulated industrial experience would be a strong advantage.
*Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations is essential
*The ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively with a knowledge on controlling varying costs across and environment


Job Offer
*Salary between £57,000 and £65,000 dependent on the level of experience.
*25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
*3% to 5% pension contribution.
