Would you like to move away from back-to-back high-street testing and use your clinical skills to make a meaningful difference?
Insightful Recruitment is working with an innovative domiciliary eye care provider that delivers high-quality eye examinations predominantly in care homes.
The organisation has developed a genuinely patient-focused model. Each clinic is carefully planned, supported by a trained Optical Assistant and equipped with high-quality portable technology.

*Identifying changes in vision and recommending appropriate eyewear
*Recognising pathology and arranging appropriate referrals
*Supporting patients who may be anxious or have communication difficulties
*Maintaining accurate clinical records using a paperless system
*Working closely with a trained Optical Assistant

You will be supported with equipment including an autorefractor, slit lamp, iCare tonometer and digital test charts.
Clinics generally operate between approximately 9:30am and 4:30pm, with travel sitting around these hours. Your working area will be planned as practically as possible around your home location.

*Comfortable working with older and vulnerable people
