Full job descriptionAircraft Mechanic (5 positions available)Location: Norwich
Salary: £38,608
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (seasonal working pattern)
The OpportunityWe’re looking for an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join a well established aircraft maintenance organisation supporting base maintenance operations in a regulated Part 145 environment.

Working HoursThis role operates on a seasonal shift pattern:
Winter (Mid October to Mid April)
*Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:30
*Friday: 07:30 to 16:00
Summer (Mid April to Mid October)
*Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 14:30
*Friday: 07:30 to 14:00
Depending on your start date, summer hours may temporarily be 07:30 to 15:30 to maintain the annual average working week.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:
*Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
*Complete maintenance activities safely, efficiently and to the required airworthiness standards.
*Ensure all maintenance work is accurately documented.
*Follow all company Health & Safety policies and report any hazards, incidents or near misses.
*Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
*Ensure effective shift handovers.
*Maintain and control personal tooling in line with company procedures.
*Report airworthiness and safety concerns through the internal reporting system.
*Support aircraft maintenance activities at outstations when required.
What We’re Looking ForTo be considered, you’ll ideally have:
*A recognised Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or Armed Forces aircraft engineering training.
*Human Factors training.
*Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training.
*EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) training.
*Basic understanding of UK CAA/EASA Part 145 requirements and Health & Safety legislation.
*Basic IT skills.
*Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and approved maintenance procedures.
