A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Assistant Manager to review accounts assignments, manage client relationships and support the development of the junior team.
The portfolio is varied and the firm sits well within one of the UK’s most commercially active professional services markets. There’s a clear pathway to Manager and a collaborative culture behind it. Crowe Watson Recruitment knows the Yorkshire accountancy market well, and Leeds particularly so.
What’s the day to day of the role:
*Reviewing and managing accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio
*Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining those relationships
*Supporting managers and partners on complex assignments and technical matters
*Overseeing workflow so assignments are delivered on time and to standard
*Supervising and coaching junior and semi senior members of the team
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified with a solid background in accounts preparation and review
*At least four years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering to deadlines
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
*Confident client facing manner, with the ambition to progress into a leadership role
