Full job descriptionWe are working with an established forwarder who are looking to recruit an Airfreight Coordinator with both Air Exports/ Imports.


The Airfreight Coordinator is responsible for arranging, monitoring, and processing Import/ Export consignments on behalf of both internal and external customers in the most cost-effective manner while achieving required service levels and compliance standards. Includes ensuring temperature – sensitive and time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments. Any Import experience advantage.


Role Involves:
*Manage and priorities daily shipment activities to ensure customer requirements and operational deadlines.
*Ensure all shipment documentation and operational data are completed.
*Start to finish Import & Exports.
*Good customs/ CDS experience.
*Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, suppliers regarding shipment movements.
*Assist with operational audits and provide documentation as required.
*Support other departments such as Healthcare, Perishables, Gateway and General Exports as and when required.
*Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, carriers, overseas partners and internal stakeholders.


Experience.
*Good Air Import / Export start to finish experience.
*Good Customs / CDS experience.
*Any Pharma or Perishable experience advantage.
*Any Import experience advantage.


Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Salary depends on experience.
