Full job descriptionAs a Payroll Manager based in Preston, you’ll oversee the smooth running of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your role will play a key part in supporting the accounting and finance department by managing processes that keep the business functioning efficiently.

This role based in Preston and will be fully office based.
Description
*Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
*Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and legislation.
*Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
*Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
*Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees.
*Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
*Oversee payroll system updates and software integrations.
*Support year-end payroll activities, including P60 and P11D submissions.
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
*Proven experience in managing payroll processes within a business.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
*Good communication skills for liaising with employees and stakeholders.
*Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office.
Job Offer
*Salary between £50,000 and £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
