Full job descriptionManagement Accountant Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting a growing, organisation within the oil & gas industry, in their search for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to join a fast-paced, ambitious business during an exciting period of growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping drive business performance. Key responsibilities:
*Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts and supporting month-end close activities
*Producing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journal entries
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes
*Providing detailed financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
*Monitoring business performance against budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators
*Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge
*Assisting with board reporting and the preparation of management information packs
*Supporting year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting processes
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting and business processes
*Supporting strategic projects, acquisitions, integrations and wider business growth initiatives where required
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within a Management Accountant / Group Accountant role. Candidates should have strong month-end accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience working within a Private Equity-backed, high-growth or fast-paced commercial environment would be highly advantageous.
