Shifts: Monday - Friday
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 08:00 – 16:00
Pay: £13.00 per hour
We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving the unloading, sorting, moving and storage of materials. On a temporary on-going contract.
Key Responsibilities
*Remove plastic storage bags from containers.
*Empty and safely secure contents in designated storage areas.
*Move materials into recycling and compactor skips.
*Sort and store parts in the relevant bins and storage areas.
*Load and unload containers.
*Follow all health and safety procedures and site briefings.
*Report any accidents, incidents and near misses to the relevant personnel.
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You
*Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy loads.
*Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking manual work.
*Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
*Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
*Good team-working skills.
*Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
*Full training and site induction provided
