Interim Finance Manager
Daily rate: £220 – £280 a day
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Interim
Location: Milton Keynes
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to join a central finance team of a bust organisation?
This is a senior finance role supporting the CFO and providing financial leadership across multiple academies.
In your role you will oversee management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls and reporting, while acting as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders and academy teams.
About You
We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience and excellent knowledge of financial processes and controls.
You will ideally have:
AAT Level 4 or be part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.
Strong experience producing management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports.
Experience supporting budgets, forecasting and financial planning.
Experience supervising or managing finance staff.
Excellent Excel and finance systems skills.
Knowledge of VAT, payroll and financial compliance.
Experience within education, public sector or academy finance would be advantageous.
A senior role within an ambitious and developing education organisation.
