£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Packaging Artworker to join a successful international consumer products business.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked extensively within packaging production and understands the journey from approved design through to printed product. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing artwork through UK print suppliers, attending press checks, approving proofs and delivering premium-quality packaging.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage final packaging artwork for retail products
* Prepare accurate print-ready files across various packaging formats
* Apply and check trapping, overprints, bleed and colour specifications
* Review and approve proofs
* Attend press passes where necessary
* Work closely with packaging manufacturers and printers
* Maintain version control and artwork libraries
* Support new product launches and packaging developments
Essential Experience
* Significant packaging artwork experience
* Strong knowledge of lithographic and commercial print processes
* Experience with trapping and press preparation
* Previous involvement in press passes and proof approvals
* Understanding of Pantone matching, colour profiles and print tolerances
* Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
* Experience handling packaging die lines and cutter guides
