The Role:As Assistant Accountant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function, gaining broad experience across areas including:
*Purchase and sales ledger
*Bank reconciliations
*Invoicing and credit control
*Processing expenses and payments
*Assisting with month-end reporting
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects
About You:We’re looking for someone who is driven, personable and keen to progress. You’ll ideally have some previous accounts experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be someone who:
*Has a good understanding of accounting principles
*Is highly organised and detail-oriented
*Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
*Is keen to learn and take on additional responsibility
*Has strong Excel skills
*Is studying towards, or interested in pursuing, an accounting qualification
