Our client — a leading law firm recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners — is looking for an experienced Housing Disrepair specialist to take the reins as Head of Litigation, leading a strong team handling pre and post-litigated HDR matters.
This isn’t just about running your own files — it’s about shaping how a team performs. You’ll manage capacity, motivate and develop your people through regular 1-2-1s, and make sure every client gets a high standard of service, delivered on time and to target.
What you’ll be doing:
*Leading and supervising a team of litigators handling Housing Disrepair matters
*Managing workload distribution and team capacity
*Supporting, coaching and motivating your team to perform
*Driving case progression and results while maintaining exceptional client care
*Acting as a genuine ambassador for the firm’s values and standards
What you’ll bring:
*Qualified Solicitor, minimum 5+ years PQE
*Demonstrable expertise in Housing Disrepair and Civil Litigation
*Proven experience leading or supervising a litigation team
*Excellent technical knowledge of CPR and Housing Conditions case law
*Strong negotiation, communication and client care skills
*A target-driven mindset balanced with genuine care for outcomes
*Personal Injury experience would be an advantage, though not essential
