We’re partnering with a large, complex organisation to recruit an experienced, qualified, Finance Operations Manager to lead a high-volume transactional finance team and drive operational excellence across AP, AR and payment processes.
This is a senior role within the finance function, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong technical expertise, and enjoys improving processes, controls and reporting. You’ll play a key part in modernising finance operations, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage high-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
*Oversee all AP/AR processes including invoice workflow, debt management, cash collection and ledger accuracy
*Drive improvements in working capital, reporting cycles, budgeting and forecasting
*Strengthen financial controls, risk management and compliance across transactional finance
*Develop reporting, dashboards and commentary for senior leadership
*Support system upgrades and process improvement projects
*Build strong relationships across finance, operations and external stakeholders
*Provide leadership, coaching and development to a busy transactional team
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Accountant - essential
*Extensive experience managing large transactional finance teams
*Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, controls and compliance
*Proven ability to operate in a large, complex organisation
*Skilled in analysing high-volume financial data and producing clear reporting
*Confident leader able to motivate teams and drive change
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
