Location: Basildon
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to support a busy and expanding workload across Basildon and the wider Essex region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified professional seeking a varied role, strong earning potential, and long-term stability. The position offers a genuine mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, domestic, and public sector sites.

The Role*Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
*Undertaking air monitoring, including four-stage clearances and reoccupation certification
*Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing where required
*Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed
*Producing accurate and compliant survey and analytical reports in accordance with HSG264 and HSG248
*Working across commercial, domestic, and public sector properties
*Managing your workload efficiently across multiple sites
*Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
*Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance
About You*BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
*Previous experience working in an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst or dual role
*Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
*Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
*Full UK driving licence
*Strong communication and report-writing skills
*Ability to manage your own workload independently
*Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
