Full job descriptionLead the Council’s land and development activity across the full asset life-cycle from opportunity identification and feasibility, through planning and commercial evaluation, to delivery and disposal of that assets realise best value, enable regeneration, and support corporate objectives.

A London based Local Authority looking to grow and develop their property portfolio.
Description
As a Land and Development Surveyor you will:
*Lead property development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet objectives and timelines.
*Manage budgets, resources and stakeholder expectations effectively.
*Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
*Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the public sector.
*Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
*Produce detailed reports and documentation for all stages of development projects.
*Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making within the property department.
Profile
A successful Land and Development Surveyor should have:
*MRICS
*Be willing and able to commute to London borough at lease twice a week
*Strong experience in property development or project management within the public sector.
*Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
*Proficiency in managing budgets and stakeholder relationships.
*Knowledge of relevant public sector regulations and compliance requirements.
*Ability to analyse data and produce comprehensive reports.
*Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and external partners.
Job Offer
*Daily rate of £550 to £645, dependent on the level of experience.
*Hybrid working arrangement
*Temporary contract offering flexibility and project-based work.
