Key ResponsibilitiesSales Ledger
*Raising and issuing customer invoices
*Allocating receipts and reconciling customer accounts
*Chasing outstanding payments and managing aged debt
*Resolving customer invoice queries
Purchase Ledger
*Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Preparing and processing payment runs
*Dealing with supplier queries
Banking & Reconciliations
*Daily bank postings and reconciliations
*Monitoring cash receipts and payments
*Assisting with cash flow reporting
General Accounts
*Assisting with month-end processes
*Journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and administration
About You*Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role
*Strong knowledge of sales and purchase ledger processes
*Good understanding of reconciliations and general bookkeeping
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
*AAT qualified or studying towards AAT would be advantageous
