Our client is a market leader in their industry and looking to add a Finance Manager to their team in a newly created role.
This is a hybrid position in Nottingham and is payng up to £50,000.
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who can work closely with the Finance Director and support the finance team. This is a hands on position in the finance team in Nottingham.
The successful Finance Manager will have a split role between Business Partnering and Management Accounts.
Description
*Preparation of Management Accounts
*Month and year end closing processes
*Support with reporting requirements
*Reconciliations
*Oversee transactional ledgers
*Maintaining fixed asset register
*Producing P and L
*Assisting Finance Director with budgets and forecasts
*Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
*Prepare and present financial reports and budgets to stakeholders.
*Monitor and analyse financial performance against targets.
*Identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform business planning.
*Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Assist in forecasting and investment appraisals to support business growth.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be Qualified by Experience
*Experience in a hands on Finance Manager position / Management Accountant role
*Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
*Strong business acumen and understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sector.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
