Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a hands-on role with a dynamic manufacturing business?
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee incoming component inspections and in-process quality evaluations to ensure our standards remain consistently high.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform scheduled quality evaluations on incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies.
*Manage component release procedures, ensuring non-conforming materials are strictly contained and documented.
*Raise clear non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
*Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and logs in line with compliance guidelines.
*Calibrate and maintain measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
*Support internal and external quality audit activities as required.
Key Requirements
*Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Control Technician.
*Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
*Practical expertise using standard measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to verify dimensions and material properties.
*Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
*Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.
*A full UK driving licence.
