Full job descriptionA successful and growing business is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to take ownership of daily warehouse activities, lead a motivated team, and help drive high standards across the warehouse operation.
Offering a salary of £32,000-£34,000 per annum based in Aylesbury.
Duties
*Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives to meet targets
*Allocate workloads, monitor performance and lead daily briefings
*Train, coach and guide warehouse staff
*Support goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
*Ensure accurate stock receipt, recording and rotation within SAP
*Maintain stock accuracy through checks and stock takes
*Supervise order fulfilment, vehicle loading and timely dispatch
*Resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and operational issues
*Maintain housekeeping, health, safety, and compliance standards
*Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required
Experience
*Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor role
*Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management processes
*Experience using warehouse management systems, including SAP
*Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills
*Strong organisational and workload planning abilities
*Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Hands on approach with the ability to support operational activities when needed
*Forklift licence and driving experience
