Are you an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys taking ownership of month-end reporting?
Do you have a hands-on approach and the confidence to work closely with operational and production teams?

The role:
*Take ownership of the month-end close and associated journals
*Prepare and manage weekly and monthly profit and loss statements
*Manage the sales ledger, invoice queries, credit control and intercompany billing
*Oversee inventory reconciliations and review stock-count results
*Analyse financial performance and recommend process improvements
*Partner with production teams to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies
*Develop labour standards for new production items and review existing bills of materials
*Support strategic financial planning and wider business-improvement projects
About you:
*Experienced in management accounting, financial reporting and analysis
*Ideally studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA
*Manufacturing accounting experience would be a strong advantage
*Commercially aware, analytical and confident working with operational teams
*Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting or ERP systems
*Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of deadlines
*Knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE and tax compliance
