Clinical Trial Monitor - 188394
Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum (including Oxford Weighting Allowance)
Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) is home to world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within the NDPH, and is a world-leading centre for large-scale research into the causes, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases (such as cancer and cardiovascular and kidney disease).
We are seeking a Clinical Trial Monitor to work on the ORION-4, EASi-KIDNEY and ASCEND PLUS trials, in addition to any other CTSU trial as required, to provide both on-site and in-house monitoring support. You will conduct monitoring visits ensure that the studies are conducted in compliance with the trial protocol, relevant SOPs and the local regulatory and ICH-GCP guidelines.
To be considered for the Clinical Trial Monitor post, you will have a life sciences degree or are a nurse with a current UK NMC registration, possess previous experience of working in a clinical trial environment and are diligent and have proven attention to detail. You will also have excellent organisational and communication skills with a flexible approach to problem solving and ability to show initiative.
The post is full time and fixed term for 2 years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is noon on 28th September 2026.
