Looking for consistent weekday work with full training and long-term opportunities? Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to join a well-established client on an ongoing basis. Whether you’re experienced with tipper vehicles or looking to gain new skills, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
*Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles
*Delivering aggregate materials to construction sites, quarries, and commercial locations
*Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while following scheduled routes
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to all health and safety procedures
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday
*6:45am start
*Average 10-hour shifts
*Ongoing, regular work
Pay & Benefits:
*£250 sign-up bonus after completing your first 10 shifts
*Weekly pay (PAYE or PAYE Advanced)
*Minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift
*2-3 days of fully paid client training
*Ongoing, reliable weekday work
*CPC course and licence upgrade discounts for long-term drivers
*Driver referral bonus scheme
*Friendly, experienced local team providing ongoing support
What We’re Looking For:
To be considered, you’ll need:
*A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
*A valid Driver CPC qualification
*A valid Digital Tachograph Card
*At least 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience
*A good understanding of health and safety procedures
*Excellent timekeeping and a professional attitude
Previous tipper experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
