Full job descriptionFindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Chartered Building Surveyor.
Permanent position. This role will be based in Manchester / Hybrid
Salary
Negotiable depending on experience + performance-related bonus + professional development support + additional benefits
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services.
*Undertake PPM surveys, condition surveys, technical due diligence and building pathology investigations.
*Prepare specifications, schedules of work, technical reports and Reinstatement Cost Assessments.
*Manage maintenance, repair, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects.
*Act as Contract Administrator under JCT and SBCC forms of contract.
*Prepare Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations.
*Provide clear technical advice and maintain strong relationships with clients.
*Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
Skills & Experience
*Broad experience delivering professional building surveying services.
*Strong knowledge of construction technology, building pathology and PPM programmes.
*Experience managing refurbishment projects and administering JCT or SBCC contracts.
*Strong technical reporting, organisation and client-management skills.
*Good understanding of CDM Regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.
*Competence using Microsoft Office and CAD software.
*Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple instructions.
*Full UK driving licence.
